A commendable initiative has been taken in Wazirpur Upazila, Barishal, to improve menstrual hygiene and support female students. Diva - Sanitary Pad Vending Machines have been installed to ensure easy access to essential hygiene products.
The initiative was taken and inaugurated by Mr. Md. Ali Suja, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Wazirpur. His thoughtful effort aims to create a healthier, safer, and more comfortable learning environment for female students.
These vending machines will help girls manage their menstrual needs with greater convenience, dignity, and confidence, reducing disruptions to their education.
This meaningful initiative deserves sincere appreciation and sets an excellent example for other educational institutions across Bangladesh. We hope similar efforts will continue to support the health, confidence, and education of female students nationwide.
